Carrie Underwood the Happiness Promoter of the Year
Today, Global Happiness Organization, nominates Carrie Underwood as the 2012 US Happiness Promoter of the Year.
Ms. Underwood, who first rose to fame in 2005 when she won first place on the hit TV show, American Idol, has been using her popularity for good ever since. She founded the Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation in her home state of Oklahoma, and has made numerous charitable efforts over the years, from working with the Humane Society, to partaking in anti-bullying campaigns and supporting Arts Education in schools through generous donations.
“Carrie Underwood’s small town roots are a perfect embodiment of wholesome Americana, and her inspiring actions as a US celebrity are superb works of Happiness Promotion. She is a most deserving recipient of this award”, said Mandy Jade Kramer, the new President of GHO US.
